Mental health isn’t spoken about as much as physical health, however it’s just as important. Our thoughts and feelings paint a picture of how our day is going to play out, so looking after it is vital. Whether your partner suffers from mental health problems or is generally feeling a bit blue, here’s a few loving acts you can do it make him feel better.
Make him dinner- They say the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach so you can’t really go wrong with a home cooked meal. Consider your man’s favorite food, and plan a whole dinner around it, and set the most romantic mood with candles/music. Once he has seen all the effort you put into the dinner, it’ll boost him up that extra bit.
Plan a day with his favorite things- Whether your boyfriend is a movie fanatic, loves going for long walks, the beach or is a thrill seeker, plan a day around that. You could have a ‘him’ day and treat him to an activity or two. Getting him out and doing something different, will naturally put him in a better mood and you can have that quality time together.
Write a letter about how much you love him - It goes without saying but showing how much you love someone will really make their day - and the old-fashioned way of a letter, goes the extra mile.
Run him a bath- Sometime when your other half is down, they may not want to engage in conversation and prefer to have their own time. If that’s the case, run your man a bath and let him unwind with a book, or movie.
